The man behind the success story is James E. "Jim" Dora. A 1958 Purdue University graduate, Jim Dora has worked in the hospitality industry since graduation. Deeply involved in the corporation and the community, Mr. Dora has been instrumental in the continued hospitality growth and excellence for which Indianapolis and the State of Indiana has become so widely recognized.

James E. Dora, Chairman of the Board
A Purdue graduate, James E. Dora is general partner/principal owner of the three Holiday Inns, a Holiday Inn Express, two Crowne Plaza Hotels, two Homewood Suites by Hilton, a Courtyard by Marriott, a SpringHill Suites by Marriott and a Hampton Inn managed by General Hotels Corporation. He has been involved in the development and opening of over 13 hotels as owner/developer prior to his involvement with the Intercontinental Hotel Group. Mr. Dora's properties have been ranked in the top 25 Holiday Inn Hotels in the world and have garnered several additional awards for design and service excellence. Mr. Dora is actively involved in the Indianapolis community, serving on various business and civic boards.
James E. Dora, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer
A graduate of Purdue University, Mr. Dora oversees the corporation’s overall operation and is responsible for General Hotels Corporation’s long-term strategic planning. Along with managing capital construction projects, Mr. Dora is actively involved in InterContinental Hotels and Resort's International Association of Holiday Inn owner's organization. Mr. Dora participates on the Indianapolis Capital Improvement Board, the Indiana Convention and Visitor's Association Board, Indiana Downtown Inc. Board and also serves the community in numerous volunteer capacities.
Richard A. Jett, Vice President of Finance and Administration
An Indiana University graduate with a B.S. in accounting, Mr. Jett is responsible for finance, accounting and information technology areas for General Hotels Corporation's 11 hotels. Mr. Jett joined General Hotels Corporation in 1998 and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.
Glenn Brooks, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
A graduate of Triton College, Mr. Brooks directs the daily sales efforts of the 11 General Hotels Corporation properties. Mr. Brooks is responsible for directing revenue management programs, reservation call center operations, development and execution of marketing plans along with the recruitment, training and supervision of the hotel sales teams. Mr. Brooks possesses over 31 years of hotel experience, most recently having held numerous sales, marketing and operational positions with Westin Hotels & Resorts. He is currently an active member and past President of the Indiana Meeting Professional International Chapter.
Chuck Summers, Vice President of Operations
With over 20 years of progressive hotel management experience, Mr.
Summers possesses a BS from Springfield College. Mr. Summers is responsible for the daily property management of General Hotels Corporation hotels to include P&L/expense budget control, vendor relationships, facility maintenance, adherence to service standards and recruitment, training and supervision of the hotel operation teams.
