Marriott International, Inc. is scheduled to open the 92-suite SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Terre Haute, Indiana on Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Located at 3304 US Highway 41 South, the SpringHill Suites Terre Haute will operate as a Marriott franchise, operated by General Hotels Corporation of Indianapolis, Indiana.

GENERAL HOTELS CORPORATION ANNOUNCES THE RENOVATION AND CONVERSION OF THE HOLIDAY INN SELECT AIRPORT TO A CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL
$6 million renovation planned for Indianapolis International Airport hotel -- June 20, 2006

General Hotels Corporation, one of Indiana’s largest hotel management companies by number of rooms and hospitality employees, today announced plans to convert the Holiday Inn Select Indianapolis Airport hotel to a Crowne Plaza Hotel. Renovation will begin in the fall. The name conversion will take affect with the completion of the renovation in the spring of 2008. With the addition of the new Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport, there will be two Crowne Plaza hotels representing 550 guestrooms in the state of Indiana. The Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport hotel will complement the existing Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center at Historic Union Station located at 123 West Louisiana Street in downtown Indianapolis.
