The first of several joint ventures planned for new partnership
ESTERO, FL – AUGUST 31, 2022 – Construction is underway for a new TownePlace Suites by Marriott in the Estero/Ft Myers, Florida area. The new 126-suite hotel is expected to begin welcoming guests by early 2024. Located at Exit 128 just off I-75 at Alico Road in Estero, the hotel is designed for travelers looking for a simple and friendly place where they can settle-in, keep their routine, and easily connect to the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) located just minutes away.
This project is the first of several joint ventures planned between Weathervane Capital Partners and General Hotels Corporation. The next joint project scheduled to break ground before the end of the year is a Homewood Suites and Hilton Garden Inn located in Viera, Florida.  The companies expect to make additional development announcements in the coming months as they have teamed up to invest in and develop several hotels throughout the state of Florida. The properties will be managed by General Hotels Corporation.
